I Am Facing Vitiligo From 2003. I Found This Disease Is NonCurable AM I RIGHT
Good Morning. SupriyaDubey...Hoping you are okay!
I waa told the exact same thing from a Dermatologist Specialists when I was diagnosed. No Cure!! But since I have been on this platform their are ways to stop the acceleration from the spots and treatment's that others have used or still using. Light treatments I was told helps. Certain cream's, less stress in Life etc. I don't have health insurance and majority of the treatments...i can't afford. But staying stress free is something I can do, wearing sunscreen and not expose my skin directly to the Sun. Wear a sunhat or bonnet. Opzelura cream worked some. So it's up to you. Being a part of this platform reassured me that their are things/ vitamins that slows this down. Hang in there! And Welcome to our Group. I added you to my TEAM. Let's keep in touch moving forward...
PUVA ultraviolent light treatments does work to some degree.
Keep the faith. I have had Vitiligo for 49 years. Treatments have progressed so much since then! Light treatments are great! Brought back pigment to my hands that had been affected for 30 years. Did not work on my feet. Helped my neck and face.
There are new treatments that have come out recently! They are creating new treatments every day! I stay out of the sun. Try to stay healthy and take vitamins. Good luck.
It does slow it down, makes life more manageable.
It can be cured .
