Elizacg9 it is generally recommended that people with vitiligo keep their vitamin D levels in the mid-upper range of normal. One study suggests that a high-dose vitamin D therapy may be safe and effective in reducing vitiligo activity. Therefore I suggest people living with vitiligo to purchase vitamin D3.
The appearance of the vitiligo should not prevent you from taking your seaside or mountain vacation. Sunbathing, however, is generally not the best way to spend your time. It is particularly important to avoid sun exposure from 10 am to 4 pm (especially children). 😄
