I’m not trying to sound mean or condescending. Since SOME (not all..so please…no doctors take offense) doctors think this IS cosmetic. I’m also going by the couple of doctors I’ve seen. There’s no way (at this time) that it would be considered something SSDI/SSI would consider vitiligo as a disability. I could be wrong.

So true. I can’t seem to find a good sunblock…yet. Either it’s too oily, or it leaves a terrible gray cast to my skin…even the ones that say the do NOT leave a gray cast to the skin. Then to top it off my doctor said I would burn in 3 minutes…what the heck. Who has time to apply sunblock every few minutes. My husband is about to have tint put on our car so I don’t have to keep bobbing and ducking away from the sun. I look like I’m trying a new dance😂. Not sure what I’m going to do about the beach. I love going to beach, and this is a big issue. I have seen clothes with protection, but I don’t really wear those type of clothes. ‘Guess I’ll have to look into them more. God bless.
