I Have Melasma And Vitiligo
I am going through menopause and developed dark patches of Melasma on my cheeks. I also have small white patches of vitiligo. Being brown I am now 3 colours on my face!. My vitiligo appears trauma induced and is present on elbows, arms and knees.
I wonder when the melasma goes if vitiligo will replace the dark patches? Has anyone experienced this?

Weird Question, But It Is Possible To Get "age Spots" In A Vitiligo Affected Area?
I have an appt. to see if my white patch is vitiligo, but I wonder if it could be since there's a brown "age spot" right in the middle of it. Anyone experience this before?
Interesting... today I noticed the age spot is losing pigmentation, now, too. Leading me closer to the diagnosis...
Hair Dye?
Hi, I’ve been told over the years not to use hair dye that contains hydrogen peroxide but at my last visit to my Derm (who happens to specialize in oncology) he said I could go ahead and have it done with any hair dye. What’s the latest science? Thank you all.

Stress And Vitiligo
My daughter's Vitiligo spread like wild fire after her year end exam. She is only 12 and are not naturally prone to stress at all and exams at her age are not even that big a deal. This is worrying to me as there are a lot more stressful events to come. We do not put ANY pressure on any of our kids for marks at school - they must just always do their best - we know what each one's potential is.
