Hello Everyone πŸ€— I Thought I Might Ask For Your Help? Details Follow Below. Thank You 😊

Graz, Austria

I’m a student of psychology, with my vitiligo since teenage years. I’m carrying out a study, an intervention, on dealing with being a bit different. The idea stemmed from my own experiences and I’m hoping to develop a tool which will be helpful to everyone.
My question is, would someone be interested to participate in an online intervention? Details could be available upon your request. Thank you and apologies if this request is not proper for this platform.
With warm regards,
Jasna

Hi 😊
Thank you for your reply.
Here are some details:
My study is about researching a new intervention to validate our negative feelings, express them and to encourage us to acknowledge and understand all of our emotions. When dealing with vitiligo, we are encouraged to positive thinking, accepting, self kindness and similar, which is indeed of a great importance. However, I found that dealing with my negative feelings and thoughts, helped me to acknowledge and validate myself beyond and with vitiligo.
The study consists of two parts. In the first part, participants will be asked to provide their demographic data and complete short five questionnaire surveys on self, emotion regulation, and skin condition.
In the second part of this study you will be asked to participate a two-week writing intervention (6 days in total - 3 days a week).
It is an online study. Participation in the study is voluntary. Participants can stop the involvement at any time without giving reasons and withdraw their consent to participate without any disadvantages for them.

Wow that’s a lot of text 🀭 apologies.

I am very happy to assist you with more information. Thanks!
