Anyone Try Xtrac Treatment For Vitaligo Or Any Of The Newer Modalities?
Be very careful with X-Trac! The treatment requires a commitment to going into your Dr's office 3-4 times a week. It can be very painful. My treatment was very close to my eyes and I've had problems with my eyes ever since.
Hello Beungood and I hope you're doing well! I'm having a wonderful day and I advise you to discuss using Xtac Treatment with your assigned Dermatologist. I'm using XTRAC treatments you must use it 100 times for it minimize and, in many cases, even eliminate Vitiligo depigmented patches. 😀
I have done Xtrac, for spots on my ankles. it’s a huge commitment to go 3 times a week, esp considering my dermatologist was 45 minutes away. If you’re unable to make a long term commitment for the treatments, time and $$$$, you probably won’t see any results. The treatment was effective but progress is very slow like most all treatments. I was able to have re-pigmentation fully in some of the small spots also the larger spots on ankles got some small spots of color back. Treatment is quick doesn’t take long. I did not have any trouble with the treatments, no pain or other side effects. Once I stopped going the spots returned. Unable to keep traveling to appointments I was able to buy a light to do the treatments at home. Again this is very slow process, and I have been unable to get the spots to fully return to my natural skin color. They are slowly showing signs of pigmentation. Also have thought about trying the new prescription that came out 🤷🏼♀️. Hope this helps
